PROVIDING FOR ORPHANS
Providing orphans and vulnerable children with care, education, and the opportunity to know Jesus at an early age.
Orphan & Day School Ministry
Children make up an enormous percentage of Malawi's population. Many are orphans, most are vulnerable, and all of them need Jesus.
Committed to meeting the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of orphans and vulnerable children, we opened the doors to the Finish Line Orphan & Day School Ministry in 2001. On day number one, we accepted 50 children into the program.
Today, we are privileged to serve more than 550 children in our Orphan & Days School Ministry. Daily meals alleviate their hunger, while clothing and school uniforms help meet their physical needs. At the same time, caring and qualified teachers provide each child with a fully accredited education and the opportunity to come to faith in Jesus Christ.
It is a blessing to serve so many little ones in Malawi. Their smiles are contagious, their energy is boundless, and their spirits are light. They have hope and opportunity!
Secondary school
In 2013, we launched the Finish Line Secondary School in Malawi. We envisioned a campus where Christian teachers served students from all walks of life—where first-rate education and genuine Christian faith came together. By the end of the first year, nearly 200 students had enrolled.
Today, more than 200 high school students attend our Secondary School. These remarkable teenagers are a talented and impressive group of young men and women. Like most, they desire to achieve, fit in socially, and discover their purpose. We want to give them the tools to do so.
Our faculty and staff are committed to educating, mentoring, and discipling our students. In addition to providing each student with a fully accredited high school education, our team develops vibrant student ministry, and shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We count it a privilege to serve so many students and their families.
Vocational Training College
Young adults in Malawi are stuck in an unrelenting cycle of poverty and hardship. Living independently for the first time, they must navigate the reality of inadequate shelter and a shortage of food and clothing.
Recognizing that Malawi's economy and culture depend on local craftsmen and artisans for basic manufacturing and construction, we started the Finish Line Vocational Training College in 2022
As the Vocational Training College grows, our faculty and staff will continue to use their platform to reach young adults with the Gospel while providing them with the training needed to find gainful employment and discover a standard of living that provides adequate food, water, and shelter.
Finish Line's Vocational Training College offers fully certified training in Welding & Fabrication, Carpentry & Joinery, and Tailoring & Fashion Design.
